Twistorm: Bolt Puzzle

Twistorm is a bolt puzzle with a storm in it. Bolted plates rain into the well like falling blocks, then it's your turn to take the pile apart: tap an open bolt to send it to the box of its color. Run out of room on the tray and the round is over.

Two kinds of levels

• Puzzle: the rain stops at the start. Take your time, and press and hold any plate to see which bolts open up if it goes.
• Tower: the rain keeps coming. Unscrew fast enough to keep the tower below the top. Drag the falling piece, tap to rotate, swipe down to drop, or let the machine place it for you.

Things to watch for

• Bolt heads: square, star and triangle heads only fit holes of the same shape.
• Swing: a plate held by a single bolt swings down around it, opening some columns and covering others.
• Stars unlock four themes: Workshop, Wood, Toy and Storm.

24 hand-tuned levels. Every level was checked with bots: the hard ones beat a greedy player and still fall to a careful one.

Controls

• Tap / click: unscrew an open bolt
• Press and hold (Puzzle): preview what a plate is hiding
• Tower: drag to steer, tap the piece to rotate, swipe down to drop
• Keyboard (Tower): ← → steer, ↑ rotate, ↓ or Space drop
